X Open Hub Insider – New features on the platforms

Our team is continually working on the mobile and desktop versions of our platform. In the latest releases, we have introduced a couple of useful front and backend features.

See below the list of changes with short descriptions.

Push notifications

We have introduced to our platform push notifications, which will let users know when pending orders, take profit, stop loss, or stoup out is executed, or a margin level drops below a warning threshold. Trading notifications will also include rollovers, position expiration, and corporate action events like dividends right issues, spin-offs, etc.

The app will also notify users when we publish essential market news distributed via our platforms.

This new communication channel enables users to stay in the loop with all trading activities and the most important market events.

News in Instrument view

We have added a new feature to the instrument view. Now,  each news and analysis associated with a given instrument will be displayed at the tab’s end. This function allows users to react faster to the market event and gather all information about the asset more simply.

Pivot Points

Pivot Points indicator – pivot point is a price level used by traders as a possible indicator of market movement. A pivot point is calculated as an average of significant prices (high, low, close) from a market’s performance in the prior trading period.

VWAP – We have introduced to our desktop platform a new VMAP indicator. Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) is a technical analysis tool used to measure the average price weighted by volume. VWAP is typically used with intraday charts as a way to determine the general direction of intraday prices. When the price is above VWAP, prices are rising, and when the price is below VWAP, prices are falling. Indicator possible calculation periods: Session, Week, Month, Year. The indicator applies to instruments with real volume data.
